What is HDMI cable?
HDMI cable is used to connect two devices physically for transferring bulky audio and video files. For instance, some televisions may support the use of 1.3 or 1.4 versions, while others may support only the latest versions beyond 1.8. This depends on their year of manufacture, features, and functionalities evolved through the years. Also, check the distance between two devices and then decide the length. For instance, a 3-ft. cable is enough to connect a laptop placed adjacent to your television. This is applicable for any other type of short connection runs.
