The IP Pro (8070) works with IP and NTSC/PAL cameras. The IP Pro+ (8071) supports H.264 IP cameras, as well as NTSC/PAL and AHD 1.0 and HD-TVI 2.0 analog video cameras. The IP Pro-D (8073) supports H.264 and H.265 IP cameras, as well as NTSC/PAL, AHD 2.0, CVI 3.0, and TVI 3.0 cameras. In addition the IP Pro-D has a built-in True RMS multimeter that can measure AC/DC Voltage and Current, Resistance, Capacitance, Diode and Continuity tests. All models: work with ONVIF-enabled IP cameras; have a built-in DHCP server so you can set up IP cameras before the network is even wired; provide PoE and external power for the camera (up to 12V, 15W); include a Code Book so you can save usernames and passwords of the cameras you frequently access/maintain; feature a full, flip-out keyboard for quickly entering information; capture images, videos, and camera settings so you can crete reports; have TDR cable testing and network testing. No Network Required

The built-in DHCP server allows you to set and assign IP addresses to cameras, auto-detect IP settings on networks, as well as ping, sniff, and list subnet. You can also record, save, and export full IP camera reports.

No Power Required

The CamView powers IP cameras without the need for external PoE and powers analog cameras--12 VDC @ < 2A. IP camera tests include: discover the camera, view camera's video, configure camera's parameters, and more.

Built-In Testing

The CamView IP features an analog camera test, a RS485 PTZ control test, and TDR cable tests. Ethernet tests include: 10M/100M/1G Ethernet link test, packet loss test, and Ethernet loop detection.

If you are having trouble with passwords you need to contact the camera manufacturer or refer to their manual for default user name password information or details on any special set up specifications they may have for initializing their cameras.

Updates for the unit are performed by connecting the unit to a network via the rj45 port, going into settings, scrolling down to “System Upgrade” and hitting the right arrow. The unit will automatically look for any new updates available. This process id detailed in the user manual section 4.7.3.
When viewing analog cameras the format and pattern can be changed in the “Analog video generator” section of the main menu.
