Product Information
The Triplett Model IRTC600 Thermal Imaging Camera can be used for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and HVAC systems, mechanical breakdowns, water leaks and moisture buildup, heat loss from missing insulation and faulty windows/doors, automotive repair, and other places to find hidden leaks and hot spots. The fixed focus thermal imager has a built-in visible light camera (640 x 480) that allows you to select Infrared/Visible Light/Fusion display modes. Infrared mode has a 220 x 160 (35,200 pixels) thermal detector with ≤70mk Thermal Sensitivity (NETD) that displays center spot and high/low temperature tracking on a 3.2" color TFT display with 320 x 240 resolution. Additional features include a user-selectable degree of fusion between IR and visible image (0%,25%,50%,75% and 100%), easy-to-use menu, real time clock/calendar, and Auto power off with disable. Use the on-board image index to view video (.mp4) and images (.jpg) or transfer them to your PC via USB interface that is also used to recharge the thermal imager. Includes rechargeable 3.7V Lithium Ion battery, USB cable, AC adapter/charger, software, and pouch case. 1-year warranty.

Here are some pointers.
A framerate is typically the rate or speed at which images are displayed on the screen, and this largely depends on the camera frequency. Resolution implies the size of the image in pixels, and how much can it be zoomed in without compromising on clarity. Our camera has an IR resolution of 120 x 90 pixels (10,800), while the display resolution is 320 x 240 pixels. If the resolution is high, large distance images from the target point can be achieved keeping the clarity intact, without compromising on accuracy in measuring temperature differences. In infrared imaging cameras, high resolution is even more important than digital ones. This is because otherwise temperature readings occupy most of the background and the image appears small. If we zoom in it looks pixelated and hazy.
