Datasheet
A ratchet crimper is a hand tool designed for crimping electrical connectors onto wires. It ensures a secure and uniform connection, preventing the wire from coming loose or forming a weak electrical joint. Ratchet crimpers are commonly used in electrical and telecommunications applications.
A ratchet crimper features a mechanism that applies pressure gradually and consistently as you squeeze the handles. It ratchets or clicks to prevent over-crimping, ensuring that the crimp is just tight enough for a reliable connection. This mechanism enhances precision and minimizes the risk of damaging connectors or wires.
Ratchet crimpers are versatile and can be used with various types of connectors, including insulated and non-insulated terminals, splices, butt connectors, and more. They are suitable for both insulated and non-insulated wires.
