Datasheet
A 1000 ft Cat5e UTP cable is a type of Ethernet cable that belongs to the Cat5e (Category 5e) standard. It consists of unshielded twisted pairs (UTP) of copper wires and is designed for transmitting data, voice, and video signals within local area networks (LANs).
Cat5e UTP cables are designed to support data rates of up to 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps), making them suitable for most residential and small to medium-sized business network applications.
It features unshielded twisted pairs (UTP) of copper wires, and the individual conductors have a gauge of 24 American Wire Gauge (AWG).
Using 24 AWG conductors in Cat5e UTP cable provides a balance between signal quality, data transmission performance, and flexibility. Thicker conductors can help reduce signal loss and interference over longer cable runs.
