The Triplett MM870 Industrial-Grade Digital Multimeter is designed for professionals seeking precision, reliability, and durability in challenging environments. Ideal for both professional and DIY applications, this TRMS meter accurately measures AC/DC Voltage and Current, µA Current, Resistance, Temperature, Capacitance, Frequency (electronic & electrical), and Duty Cycle. Equipped with True RMS for superior accuracy in non-sinusoidal or noisy waveforms, it boasts a backlit 6000/60,000 count LCD display with a bargraph for clear readings. The MM870 features an LPF (low pass filter) to mitigate frequency and harmonic interference, particularly useful when measuring variable frequency drives. Its Peak Hold (>1ms) with Min/Max captures and displays peak values for thorough analysis. The device also records Min/Max/Average values and includes a Data Hold function to freeze measurements, along with an AutoHold feature that updates readings upon detecting a new stable reading. The Relative mode is useful for comparison measurements against a stored reference value. Robustly built, the meter is waterproof (IP67), drop-proof up to 6.5 feet (2 meters), and adheres to a CAT IV 600V safety rating.
