Product Information

  • Open-box Triplett Model TEV200 Electric Vehicle Probe Kit designed for testing and measuring electric vehicle charging systems.
  • Connects directly to a digital multimeter, clamp meter, or multifunction tester (MFT) to perform various electrical measurements and tests.
  • Supports voltage, frequency, phase indication, phase sequence, RCD tests, insulation resistance, low-ohm measurements, and line and loop impedance measurements, depending on the connected measuring device.
  • Connects between the EVSE charging point with a Type 2 connector and the measurement inputs of a digital multimeter, clamp meter, or multifunction tester using standard male banana-type connectors.
  • Provides access to all charging connector conductors: L1, L2, L3, N, PE, CP, and PP.
  • Features a built-in Control Pilot (CP) state switch for simulating vehicle states using different resistances between the CP and PE conductors.
  • Includes CP signal output terminals for connecting an oscilloscope to check the CP signal waveform and amplitude.
  • Features a CP Error “E” function that simulates a short circuit between the CP and PE conductors.
  • Complies with the EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU), and EN 61010-1 standards.
  • Includes one IEC 62196-2 Type 1 female-to-male adapter/converter and a pouch case.

CATEGORY: EV Charging Station Testers

  • Plugs directly into your Digital Multimeter (DMM), Clamp Meter or Multifunction Tester (MFT)
  • Simply connects by wire (Standard Male Banana Type) between the EVSE charging point (Type-2 connector) and the measurement inputs of the DMM, Clamp or MFT. All wires of the charging connector are available: L1, L2, L3, N, PE, CP and PP
  • Allows you to perform typical measurements: voltage, frequency, phase indication, phase sequence, various RCD tests, insulation resistance, low ohm measurements, line and loop impedances (If supported by the measuring input device)
  • Built-In Control Pilot (CP) State (Vehicle Simulation Switch) - Different vehicle states can be simulated: Vehicle states are simulated with different resistances connected between CP and PE conductors
  • CP Signal output terminals - Use an oscilloscope to check the waveform and amplitude of the CP signal
  • CP Error “E” simulation: Simulate the behavior of the station when there is an established short circuit between CP and PE
  • Complies with EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), the Low Voltage Directive (2014/35/EU), and EN61010-1 standards
  • Includes: (1) IEC62196-2 Type 1 female to male adaptor/converter and pouch case2196-2 Type 1 female to male adaptor/converter and pouch case
