Product Information

  • The Triplett Model MS475 Moisture/Psychrometer/IR Thermometer is a versatile instrument for measuring and diagnosing dampness in buildings and building materials.
  • Enables building inspectors and remediation technicians to measure moisture levels in walls, floors, and building environments using two different operating modes for a detailed assessment of building conditions.
  • Quickly indicates moisture content using pin and pinless moisture measurement methods.
  • The built-in humidity/temperature probe measures relative humidity, air temperature, mixing ratio, vapor pressure, and dew point.
  • The infrared thermometer features a laser pointer, an 8:1 distance-to-target ratio, and a fixed emissivity of 0.95 for measuring most surfaces.
  • Measurements are displayed on a large, backlit, easy-to-read dual LCD.
  • Additional features include high/low humidity and moisture alarms, Min/Max, Data Hold, auto power-off, and a low-battery indicator.
  • Includes a remote pin moisture probe, 9V battery, and carrying case.
