Datasheet
The Cat6A-3BK is rated for 90 vdc
A Cat6a (Category 6a) patch cable is a type of Ethernet cable used for high-speed data transmission within local area networks (LANs). It provides improved performance and bandwidth compared to its predecessor, Cat6 cables.
Cat6a offers higher data transmission rates and better signal integrity compared to Cat6. It supports data rates of up to 10 Gbps over longer distances (up to 100 meters) and has improved noise and crosstalk resistance, making it suitable for demanding applications and larger network infrastructures.
Cat6a patch cables are commonly used in data centers, server rooms, offices, and industrial environments where high-speed data transfer, video streaming, VoIP, and other bandwidth-intensive applications are essential.
Yes, Cat6a patch cables are backward compatible with older networking equipment that supports lower categories, such as Cat5e and Cat6. However, to fully utilize the capabilities of Cat6a, it's recommended to use it with compatible Cat6a-rated devices.
Cat6a patch cables support data rates of up to 10 Gbps, making them suitable for high-bandwidth applications and future-proofing your network infrastructure.
Yes, Cat6a patch cables are typically shielded to provide better protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), which helps maintain signal quality and reduce data transmission errors.
Cat6a patch cables come with various connector options, with RJ45 connectors being the most common. These connectors are compatible with standard Ethernet ports found on networking devices.
Yes, Cat6a patch cables can support Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, including PoE+ and higher power PoE standards, which deliver both data and electrical power over the same cable.
Cat6a 26AWG cable is a type of Ethernet cable that falls under the Cat6a (Category 6a) standard. It features 26 American Wire Gauge (AWG) conductors, which are thinner compared to traditional Cat6a cables. This cable is designed to provide high-speed data transmission and improved flexibility.
SSTP Cat6a cable, also known as Screened Shielded Twisted Pair Cat6a cable, is a type of Ethernet cable that belongs to the Cat6a (Category 6a) standard. It features both individual twisted pairs and an overall foil shield for enhanced electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection.
