To ensure continuous and reliable recording over a 5-day period, choose a sample rate that will not exhaust the unit's recording capacity, which is 100,000 data points. Once set, you can leave the device to record for the entire duration. It's important to remember, though, that the unit's battery life is approximately 5 days. Therefore, recording over this time frame might push the device to its battery capacity limits. Always ensure the device is fully charged before starting the recording to prevent any disruptions.
Before the unit will log, it must be connected to a PC and have its parameters setup on the supplied software. Then once recording has been done, the unit must be reconnected to a PC and have the logged data downloaded and the parameters reset.
