Triplett Model IRT500 IR thermometer can measure high temperatures ranging from -58° to 1832° F (-50° to 1000°C).
A high-temperature laser thermometer emits a laser beam onto the surface of the object being measured. It then detects the infrared radiation emitted by the object's surface and calculates the temperature based on the intensity of the radiation.
