Jewell Instruments is currently seeking a Director of Business Development to manage and drive the growth of its Triplett product group.   To be successful, the ideal candidate must be dynamic and self-motivated, have a positive attitude, have the ability to develop long term relationships with all sales channels and customers, and have a successful track record of growing a similar product line or company. Responsibilities will include:

• Development and execution of a comprehensive strategy and business plan for the Triplett product group
• Identify, develop and manage a comprehensive list of new sales channels of distributors, manufacturers’ representatives, OEM accounts, VARs, Web-based customers and others
• Identify the resources needed to successfully and rapidly grow the Triplett Test Equipment and Tools business.
• Identify new opportunities with both existing customers as well as new customers
• Identify new markets and applications
• Identifying new product opportunities and documenting and developing new product plans

The ideal candidate will also have experience with test equipment and tools, or similar types of products, a willingness to travel both US and international, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Electrical Engineer – Triplett Products

Jewell is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Triplett products. Responsibilities include:

• Interpretation of marketing or customer requirements into functional specifications, and designs and develops products to these specifications

• Designs and performs design verification for both analog and digital circuitry.

• Reviews potential new products from outside suppliers, and works with Triplett Sales and Marketing to identify new features, packaging requirements and product specifications.

• Responds and provides engineering expertise to the Triplett sales and marketing team.

• Provides technical assistance and expertise to Production and Production Control, Quality Control as well to outside manufacturing partners.

• Review and maintenance of all Bills of Materials and product documentation, and the ability to work with SolidWorks and read and interpret schematics.
